Jenson Button - McLaren MercedesFormula One world champion Jenson Button has revealed he already feels “at home” with McLaren ahead of the impending 2010 season.

Button has been at the outfit for just two months but insists he feels settled, despite the pressure he was expected to face from new team-mate and McLaren golden boy Lewis Hamilton.

Instead, the duo appeared relaxed in each other’s company as their team drove to victory at a karting event for the British written media this week, and Button says he is happy to work with the 2008 world champion.Sky Sports quotes Button as saying:

I think they’re very excited Lewis and myself have both achieved so much in the sport, and now we’re racing together under the same roof, there’s a real buzz about the place.

So I feel very at home after two months, which is crazy to say, but I do, and I now go to the first race ready to put in a good performance.

SkyBet has Button at 9:1 odds of taking the win in the 2010 season opener in Bahrain this weekend.
